I began my journey in movement and rehabilitation after graduating from UBC’s Kinesiology program in 2015. As a Registered Kinesiologist with the BCAK and a personal trainer, I quickly developed a deep curiosity about the body, especially the role of fascia and its influence on how we move and feel. This curiosity led me into the world of manual therapy, where I began studying fascial stretch therapy and exploring the body beyond muscles and bones.

My path toward osteopathy began through personal experience. The basketball court was always my second home, but years of ankle sprains and knee injuries left me unable to adapt to even minor injuries. After trying every therapy under the sun for a lingering hip impingement, I was finally referred to an osteopath, and that moment changed everything. It opened my eyes to a more holistic understanding of the body and sparked a desire to learn more. My amazing wife knew I wanted to do more with my life and empowered and supported me to go back to school.

Shortly after enrolling at the Canadian School of Osteopathy, I received my first cranial treatment. As someone who’d suffered multiple concussions, the impact was immediate and powerful. Colours felt brighter, my chronic headaches and insomnia disappeared, and I experienced a deep sense of calm I hadn’t realized I was missing. That experience solidified my belief in the body’s innate ability to heal when given the right support.

During my first year of study, I suffered my most severe concussion and found my way to Natalie Bestbier at Focus Integrated Health. Across 8 osteopathic treatments she helped me get my life back, and I knew this was something I needed to learn and share with others.

Over the past five years, my studies and clinical experience have shaped my understanding of how deeply interconnected the body truly is. I’ve come to appreciate how the body’s systems work together to maintain balance, and how disruptions in one area can ripple through the whole.

At the same time, my background in kinesiology has helped me recognize that treatment doesn’t end on the table. While manual therapy can release fascial restrictions and adhesions, in some patients change often requires restoring the body’s tensegrity system. Through suspension-based exercises and fascial retraining, I help patients build resilience, prevent recurrence, and maintain the freedom we create together in treatment.

I consider myself an eternal student, always learning, evolving, and integrating new approaches so I can offer the most thoughtful and effective care possible. I love the puzzle of understanding the complex web of compensations that lead to injury and illness, and enjoy treating everyone from athletes, to elderly, or from children to pre and post partum women. Every person is different and every body tells a different story. My goal is to create a space where patients feel supported, understood, and empowered in their healing journeys .
